Wick Tabs 12.5mm x 4mm (Metal Tabs for Making Your Own Wicks)
Use these handy metal wick tabs to make new wicks from your off-cuts. A tab attaches the cotton wick to the base of the container, and also acts as a safety device so the wick cannot burn all the way to the bottom of the jar.
These are the 12.5 mm x 4 mm tabs. Our 20 mm x 8 mm tabs are the other size we stock. Our CDN and ECO wicks already come pre-tabbed, so you only need tabs when you cut or make your own.

How to Use
- Cut the wick. Cut your wick to the length you need.
- Fit the tab. Slide the wick into the tab.
- Crimp. Crimp the tab onto the wick, being careful not to press so hard that the base of the tab begins to bend.
- Secure. Use a wick stickum to secure the wick and tab assembly to the base of the jar.

Keep out of reach of children. Molten wax can burn badly: never heat it over a direct flame, never leave it unattended and do not use water on a wax fire. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep candles away from children, pets, draughts and anything flammable.
