Thyme (White) Essential Oil (Thymus vulgaris) is steam distilled from the leaves and flowering tops of the plant, sourced from Spain. "White Thyme" is most commonly a redistilled (rectified) grade of Thymus vulgaris oil with reduced phenol content compared to unrectified "Red Thyme" — its fresh, green, sweet-herbaceous aroma is softer as a result, though still warm and diffusive.
