Soap Base Castor Oil - SLS Free (Melt & Pour)
Our Castor Oil Melt and Pour Soap Base is a luxurious, nourishing formula designed to gently cleanse while delivering deep hydration to the skin. Rich in castor oil and essential fatty acids, this base helps support moisture retention, leaving the skin feeling soft, smooth, and refreshed. Its high glycerin content enhances the overall skin feel, making it especially suitable for dry or sensitive skin types, while the mild, neutral scent allows your chosen fragrances to shine through beautifully.
This versatile base is easy to work with and ideal for creating premium-quality soap bars. Simply melt using a microwave in short bursts or a double boiler until fully liquid. If a double boiler is not available, place a smaller pot or heatproof bowl inside a larger saucepan partially filled with water. Once melted, add your preferred fragrance and colour, stir well, and pour into moulds. Lightly spray with isopropyl alcohol to remove surface bubbles if needed, then allow to cool and set before use.
Ingredients: Water, Propylene Glycol, Sorbitol, Sucrose, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Titanium Dioxide. Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate is a mild surfactant derived from natural sources, used as a gentler alternative to Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in soap and cosmetic formulations.
