Soap Base Black Castor Oil - SLS Free (Melt & Pour)
Our Black Castor Oil Melt and Pour Soap Base is a rich, skin-loving formula designed to gently cleanse while delivering long-lasting hydration. Infused with black castor oil, this base is naturally high in essential fatty acids that help lock in moisture, leaving the skin feeling soft, smooth, and well-nourished. The high glycerin content enhances hydration and provides a balanced, refreshed skin feel after every use, making it especially suitable for dry, sensitive, or mature skin types.
This versatile base is easy to customise and ideal for creating premium handmade soap bars. Simply melt using a microwave in short bursts or a double boiler until fully liquid. If a double boiler is not available, place a smaller pot or heatproof bowl inside a larger saucepan partially filled with water. Once melted, add your preferred fragrance and colour, stir well, and pour into moulds. Lightly spray with isopropyl alcohol to remove surface bubbles if needed, then allow to cool and set before use.

Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate is a mild surfactant derived from natural sources, used as a gentler alternative to Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in soap and cosmetic formulations.
