Frankincense is a classic resinous base note — try it at 3-8% of the fragrance concentrate to anchor woody, oriental or incense-style accords alongside Myrrh, Sandalwood and Patchouli, or as a grounding counterpoint to bright citrus top notes.
Skincare & Massage Oil Inclusion Rate
Frankincense is a skin sensitiser, so keep leave-on skincare to around 1-2% of the total formulation, well below the generous IFRA limits for most categories. Always patch test the finished blend, and avoid use during pregnancy and breastfeeding as a precaution.
Aromatherapy & Diffuser Blend
