Eucalyptus is a sharp, penetrating top note used more in functional and therapeutic-style fragrances than fine perfumery — a small amount (1-3% of the fragrance concentrate) adds a bright, medicinal lift to spa-style or "clean" accords alongside Peppermint, Rosemary and Lemon, or a cooling contrast against woody bases like Cedarwood.
Skincare & Massage Oil Inclusion Rate
Although not restricted by IFRA, Eucalyptus is a skin sensitiser — keep leave-on skincare to around 1-2% of the total formulation. It is not recommended for use in leave-on products intended for children under 10, or anywhere near the face of infants and young children, regardless of dose. Always patch test the finished blend.
Aromatherapy & Diffuser Blend
