Our easy-to-use Dye Chips are an easy, convenient and mess free way to color wax for candle making.
2 of our color dye chips are strong enough to color 450gm of soy wax to a deep shade.
10 Chips should be enough to colour 2 – 2.5kg of wax
20 Chips should be enough to colour 4 – 5kg of wax.
You can use less obtain a medium shade. For light colors you will need less dye again.
These guide lines are that only and testing is advised, they are also for soy or natural wax, paraffin wax will need way chips to colour.

It is a good idea to melt the wax first and then add the color.

Use more for darker colours & less for lighter, it is fine to mix colours to create your own shades.

Very deep dark colours (especially black) may be difficult to achieve.
